Obviously, the newer versions do seem to have been DAHDIed, but then DAHDI started no problem under 0.7.0 (though I don't definitely know that the ec was functioning). I wonder if dropping the newer version into /lib/firmware would do the trick? If so, how much of the folder structure should be maintained? Should it look something like this?
/lib/firmware/drivers/dahdi/vpmadt032_loader/vpmadt032_loader.h /lib/firmware/drivers/dahdi/vpmadt032_loader/vpmadt032_x86_32.o_shipped /lib/firmware/drivers/dahdi/vpmadt032_loader/vpmadt032_x86_64.o_shipped Presumably the last file is irrelevant in a net5501. > Tom, what does: > > $ lsmod | grep dahdi_vpmadt032_loader > > show? haltwhistlepbx ~ # lsmod | grep dahdi_vpmadt032_loader dahdi_vpmadt032_loader 172384 0 dahdi_voicebus 34656 2 dahdi_vpmadt032_loader,wctdm24xxp So, it seems to be loaded, though from where, I am not sure. I shall try removing the .bin firmware file, rebooting, and trying that lsmod again.
