Thanks for all the replies, but to be honest reading all the replies I can
conclude that I am on a dead end?
I just upgraded from astboxlinux (astrerisk 1.2) because I really liked the
Astlinux interface and everything around it.

Any other suggestions for a out of the box distro that has a nice interface
where also the config files are directly accessable for editing? I am
running it on a normal x86 (AMD Geode @ 500MHz).
