Hi namesake :-) There are quite a lot of changes as it seems. I am not sure at the moment, which ones of them affect me.
I am pretty much still a beginner with asterisk. I have it working and it does (mostly) what I want. :-) I am not using many features. It runs on an alix3 board and connects to two software sip phones and a viop-to-pstn adapter. It also connects to 5 external sip providers. I guess, I'll try it after backup of my settings (or even the whole cf card...) and see if I can get it to work. If not, I can revert. Concerning my first question then, asterisk 1.8 does offer TCP connections, right?
