As the HP T57XX units I use for deployment (approx 15 or so total) are thin 
clients, they have VGA controllers and the geni586 is the easiest to use. 

The T5710 have USB 2.0 and the Apple USB-Ethernet adapter for the MacBookAir 
works nicely as a 2nd ethernet port.  

15 watts and about $100 or less on ebay. Some have PCI expansion module on 
them.
