Hi Tim,  Thanks for the info.

There are no special Geode LX compiler options for the 'alix' board with 
AstLinux 1.x .  Though that image does poke at certain LED support for the 
Alix2.

The BlackBochs SBC board would perform slightly better with SMP disabled (~ 
6%), so using build.astlinux.org with SMP disabled, and then use the 
"geni586-serial" board image, might be best.

Darrick's standard "geni586-serial" images have SMP enabled.
