Especially the new PC Engines APU boards or MINIX miniPC (only 2 NICs, see in 
the Wiki) are nice low cost AstLinux boxes.
Or you could use whatever you like (without AstLinux) and use an IP-phone over 
OpenVPN like Snom and Yealink (and maybe other vendors) offer.
