Hey couple of hours from here :) Actually I really like iftop anyway so I will use that. It would be cool if that could be on the web gui! As the whole of Australia is moving to a national broadband network with no PPP, it eventually won’t be a problem anyway.
Thanks all for your help. Though it doesn't really solve the problem. Monitoring the LAN interface may be the best alternative with a PPPoE connection. The new darkstat version has an improved listing for ports, both local and remote. It may be possible to automatically restart darkstat when it exits while monitoring ppp0, but resetting all the stats makes that not as useful. BTW, Michael Knill, the darkstat author Emil Mikulic lives in Sydney... a "mate" of yours :-) Lonnie ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ _______________________________________________ Astlinux-users mailing list Astlinux-users@lists.sourceforge.net https://lists.sourceforge.net/lists/listinfo/astlinux-users Donations to support AstLinux are graciously accepted via PayPal to pay...@krisk.org. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ _______________________________________________ Astlinux-users mailing list Astlinux-users@lists.sourceforge.net https://lists.sourceforge.net/lists/listinfo/astlinux-users Donations to support AstLinux are graciously accepted via PayPal to pay...@krisk.org.
