While Mark's email (below) was almost 6 years ago, and we had an alternative solution for him at the time using "mime_pack" we just added a functional /bin/mail with Revision: 7791 in the SVN.
As such his example, -- mail -s "CDR_records" -a /mnt/kd/cdr-csv/Master.csv g7...@g7ltt.com </dev/null -- or -- mail -s "CDR_records" -a /mnt/kd/cdr-csv/Master.csv g7...@g7ltt.com <<EOF CDR Records for pbx12 EOF -- now works.
