I have just downloaded Bria 4.5 (and I am using 1.2.7 Asterisk 11) and I set up a contact to get the connected ID working. To my immense surprise, the contacts had presence which actually was working e.g. showing Ready, On the Phone, Ringing etc.
Bria is now using Asterisk Hints! Now to see if I can get it working via LDAP import for a full UC solution.
