Hi, I am using AR9281 card for the AP. I am having atheros driver for linux 2.6.15. When I bring up interface, iwconfig shows that bit rate is 0 kb/sec. Clients are not able to associate with the AP. It is 802.11ng network and AP side ststs shows, association request received and it is failing due to unmatched bit rate. When I use iwconfig utility to set the bit rate to 1M or 3M (any valid values), it accepts, but when I dump rate using iwlist, it still shows 0kb/sec and I will never able to actually set valid rate.
Anyone faced similar problem could kindly help me. Since it is 11n chip, I tried configuring the mode to 11g using iwpriv ath0 mode 3 , it is also failing. Any idea, to really configure AP with 11n chip for valid rate? thanks, MB.
