Stephen,

I am using linux 2.6.21. Ath9k supports from 2.6.27 onwards. So, I cant use
the Ath9K drivers. But I need to support AR9280 chips in 2.6.21. We got
some driver for 2.6.15 and I make them compiled for 2.6.21 and using the
".ko".

I am able to start the AP and client is finding the AP, but when client try
to associate, it fails and stats shows following:

 /80211stats
3 rx discard 'cuz dup
5 rx discard mgt frames
1 rx frame chan mismatch
990 rx frame ssid mismatch
*11 rx assoc w/ no rate match*
2 active scans started

and iwconfig wlan0 shows as below:
 ./iwconfig wlan0
wlan0 IEEE 802.11ng ESSID:"rmi_sg" Nickname:""
          Mode:Master Frequency:2.417 GHz Access Point: 00:03:7F:0F:E3:23
         * Bit Rate=0 kb/s *  Tx-Power:16 dBm   Sensitivity=1/3
          Retry:off RTS thr:off Fragment thr:off
          Encryption key:off
          Power Management:off
          Link Quality=0/94 Signal level=161/162 Noise level=161/161
         * Rx invalid nwid:112* Rx invalid crypt:0 Rx invalid frag:0
          Tx excessive retries:0 Invalid misc:0 Missed beacon:0

So, any guess what may be wrong? If I try setting bitrate using iwconfig,
still it is of no use.

thanks,
MB.
