Hi Folks -

These are two different sessions, but the result is the same.

http://pastebin.com/g3pLUkVd - tshark dump
http://pastebin.com/M22ghcEQ - -dd output

The AP is a MI424WR-GEN2. It was supplied by Verizon. Its input is coax or
ethernet. It does not do Fiber, even though it
has FiOS all over it. It also will not do 802.11N, even though Actiontec's
site says it will.

Welcome to AOHell!

I think his shows a timeing problem. The AP sends an "authenticated" before
the request from the "client" goes out. There
does not seem to be any "cruft" to crunch in that initial "authenticated"
transaction anyway. It always gets by that anyway.

It only "associates" when there is a "monitor" virtual interface configured.
But then the 4Way fails; reason 2. The packets
show one just seconds before.

I have not figured out how to dump packets from the AP yet.

B.
