Once an image has been captured, ZoomReader's state-of-the-art Optical Character Recognition (OCR) turns the picture into readable text and then reads that text back to you out loud. You can also choose to magnify the text or alter the background and text color to a higher contrast combinations; This is especially helpful to anyone with Macular Degeneration or other eye impairments that respond well to high contrast combinations like yellow on black or blue on yellow.
