It performs the same action. I understand that zoom reader is harder to use if you have no useable vision, and it is half the price. Please let me know your results with your app though. Once an image has been captured, ZoomReader's state-of-the-art Optical Character Recognition (OCR) turns the picture into readable text and then reads that text back to you out loud.
