Jeepers. It had NO TECHNICAL CONTENT. It did not affect the protocol. It was tutorial in nature. Tutorially speaking, it was lousy, offering no information not immediately available and obstructing the crucial path to the "hello world" narrative of the rest of that section. -Tim
