Where do we stop?
We will end up having over an denumerable number of mime types if
we continue this way.
Why is it then that in rdf I can do all of the above with just the
same mime type?
You can't. You don't understand how RDF interacts with media types.
I've already mentioned this to you today, but you've chosen to
disregard it. Do some research, gain some understanding and if you
want to pursue it, take this up with the W3C TAG or the IESG. It's
not appropriate work for this group.
Come on. A little less hand waving please. At least point to some
document that makes your case.
All RDF documents I have seen are served with application/rdf+xml .
And I have never seen mention of your point. So it is to say the
least a little obscure.
You have in now way argued that a new mime-type will hurt
interop or violate the architecture of the web.
So how would an infinite numbers of mime types help interoperability?
That's a bad argument. I can't be bothered looking up which one.
Come on. We're not in kindergarten here. "I know an argument but I am
not going to tell you".
