Yes, I am suggesting "republishing" the entry with explicit information saying, "hey, look at me, I was revoked at this instant in time", as I believe this is the approach that'd require the least amount of change in existing tools, and thus can be implemented with the least amount of fuzz.
It could also provide us with a mechanism for stating why the entry was revoked/deleted.
