+1, but not just type attributes, also xml:lang variations please.
-1. An Atom entry is *one* representation and you can link to alternates. I'm deeply unhappy that this was raised again. We went over and over on the matter, and no one ever used them anyway.

I'm sorry, this was decided months ago. Why don't you go back and read why it happened.
If we have multilple content elements, I propose that we rename it to <element>.
