Nothing, that's how nvidia-graphics works, you will end up having both
the fake nvidia-graphics-<version> package and the real-content
nvidia-graphics<version> packages installed.
What happens if you have more than one ##.## version installed.
You will use nvidia-graphics-switch to choose which package will be
really used.
Thanks for the clarification. I've always had an incomprehensible rat's
nest of nvidia packages pulled in when I've tried to update and I've
never understood why. I'll clean up my nvidia-graphics packages and try
again.
