I won't give up so quickly :) Go is a fine language. But Go lacks what I call "high mechanism" that can greatly increase one's programming productivity. With enhanced type inference and embeddable templates, I feel that ATS3 has a very good chance to be competitive when compared with Go (and others) regarding those simplicity criteria.
