Yeah, that's expected. Without the -r switch they work as they should,
but -r causes a reinitialization of the device by usbhid which turns
off the led.

Besides the typo (--ignore install instead of --ignore-install) it
seems good to me.

Notice that you'll lose all usb hid devices like this, E.G. also any
keyboards you have connected.
