I was able to get a ATV up and running with KnoppMyth R5.5 using most of the guidances here. This is only the second time ever attempting to setup mythtv so bare with me. The first time failed do to underpowered itx equip. So at this point the video is underclocked using the guide here but only after adding the coolbits option and my 42" westy has proper resolution after editing xorg.conf. The wireless works at 2.4g with a rate of 130 (5g wouldn't work). the video profiles are setup and the video is working really well (SD and HD OTA). The menus were a bit slow and the audio was stuttering a little when I was using the atv as a FE/BE, but the menus woke up after setting up a separate BE.
Now here's the problem, the analog audio is still stuttering. It seems to start stuttering after adjusting the internal volume, rwd/fwd livetv, navigating through the OSD guide, and initially when the video starts. I don't know if this is occuring with the digital audio (spdif), but I only can use analog or HDMI. Anyone seeing this... or should I say hearing this problem?
