Phil, this is what I initially tried and it did _kind of_ work via HDMI, although every time I switched to some other device, the color temperature was all wrong for those and I'd have to go into the tv setting and readjust. Maybe this is just something I'll have to live with but it seems wrong to me. And either way, it seems that component should be fine..
