How about using the 1.0 dmg, this seems to be floating around. For the mach_kernel.prelink, open the 1.0 dmg and use the one inside the disk image. This should let you boot and restore to 1.0, then update using the normal Apple method, once you get to 3.01, all the updates will be applied. This should work if your AppleTV was pre2.2 (out of the box), in later shipped AppleTVs, Apple used a different wifi card that triggered a bug in the earlier AppleTV OS. If you run into this bug (kernel panic), then yank the wifi card and that should let you boot, there were never any firmware updates to the wifi cards. -- To post to this group, send email to [email protected] For more options, visit this group at http://groups.google.com/group/atv-bootloader?hl=en
