In Transifex, translations can be marked as 'issues', so translators can put
extra information next to strings (in comments).
The .po file format also supports some kind of "context" if i'm not mistaken,
but that requires the .pot file to have context info for each string.

I've just had a quick look at transifex
and see that Dutch, German, Chinese and Turkish translations there
for Audacity are in a good state.
Are these the only languages which are being actively maintained
at the transifex site?
I am not seeing any of our hints for translators there. Is there
an option to make transifex show them?
