I've used kaspersky internet security and eset smart security and they are both good.
personally, I've had a bad experience using free antivirus, and am never going back there again. windefendr also deletes a lot of stuff by mistake.
on the other hand, eset is lightweight and gives a lot of options, and it's accurate. Kaspersky is even better, but uses more of the CPU and RAM, so it works well when being installed on a PC capable of high performance
