Nowhere near nearby explorer. For one, near by explorer has turn by turn navigation, and doesn't need an internet connection, which is why I got it on my BrailleSense Polaris, because it doesn't have cellular ability, so using it with a phone as a hotspot defeats the purpose of having a ghps app on there, and is laggy, because maps doesn't use your GPS chip when you're on wi-fi. So, Nearby explorer is better than blindsquare. As for this app, it's cvool, but won't replace me using my polaris with Nearby Explorer, or my phone with BlindSquare, and a maps app.
