This is all good to know. Sounds like a fair majority of the game is playable then. Shadow Lords...well, as long as it doesn't unlock the grand majority of the game's content, I can sort of ignore it. If there is an arcade mode that lets me fight all the combattants in a ladder-style format, I'm cool with that too.
From what I read in patch notes, the devs feel the game is pretty complete, balance-wise. They say that, but then I see almost no one playing Kim Wu, Arbiter, Rash or Arganos at the pro level, at least not very often. It seems like most people gravitate to Jago/Maya/Mira/Hisako/Cinder/Glacius/Fulgore.
