I wonder if artisoul was meant to be manamon's version of having access to teachable moves since you can give it a moveset consisting of any 5 moves you want it to have. A team of these might be fun to play through the game with. This won't win any speedrun competitions, and you probably won't get too far in online battles with it, but it might work in game because the AI is dumb.
