Re: UI Screen reader support
Christ, I'm about to rip out what little hair I have left. Are there any libraries that do this in C other than Tolk, so I can bind them to Rust and get on with my day? I thought I'd take a crack at fixing my DLL load errors in Tolk itself, part of which would involve setting up GitHub Actions and GitHub Releases so they can use the new official platform CI and we can have an official source for artifacts again. But running nmake from the Visual Studio 2019 development prompt gives me error code 1077, return code 0x2. Googling this reveals some QT errors indicating lack of C++ support for some constructs, but nmake doesn't show any warnings or errors. Never mind that I'm not doing anything with QT. I'm about to just give up on actively trying to make the Windows experience better. Windows certainly beats Linux on accessibility, but the developer experience requires advanced degrees in patience and bureaucracy. Microsoft's propensity for non-human-readable hex error codes needs to be burned vilently and hacked to bits.
Any idea what 1077/0x2 means, or how I can get Tolk's Makefiles to actually give me an actionable error?
