I agree with Jayde here with regards to the continuation of current measures. Going back to everything the way it was isn't necesarily a good thing. Asault freak you say we got through other pandemics. But how well did we actually do? The 1918 pandemic killed tens of millions, I hardly would call that a success.
The fact of the matter is, as humanity, we asked for this, and brought this on ourselves in a way. If research budgets for medicine, had been as expansive as military budgets, and we had mapped and understood all organisms that could interact with humans in a way, and developed antivirals for all classes of virus which were as good and as safe as antibiotics, we would've had no pandemic, only a minor outbreak to distribute medicines to some people. Maybe now we will try to understand viruses and other pathogens more, but for some reason I highly doubt it.
