So after playing this abit, here are my thoughts.

Story: Well, it's a western, so you can't expect a fleshed out deap story. for what it is it's ok. Action, cheap talk and what not.

Gameplay: A pritty huge disapointment and what I would call quite a fail. You walk through a linear world without any side tracking, exploration or any form of creativity. The only thing you do is walk behind your guide and enjoy the soundscape, which is seriously lacking any form of detail, apart from the ocasional cat or dog.
During fights with weapon or fist, it's the same hear and react type of gameplay we have seen dozen of times by now and which got repetitive years ago. on the plus side, they tried something new with multiple enemys approaching, but this doesn't help the fact that the system is boring as ass.

Sound: Well,it's ok I guess. They removed that strange car drive by during the horse riding scenes, so that's a point in their favor.
The revolvers don't sound that great. I'm sure if one would have searched the sound librarys abit longer, you would find more realistic sounding guns or revolvers/shotguns.

The horses also don't really sound like horses I would expect.
Yes, the sounds of trotting and galloping are ok, but this is not how horses on grass, stone or other surfaces sound.
The fact that they sound like draft horses and not slimmer and faster horses that you would expect with bounty hunters is possibly something that goes to much into detail, but I'll leave it here anyways.

The biggest Plus possibly is the translations into different languages. The English one is pritty good, the German one though seams quite lackluster. Characters often don't seam to have any emotion, they use strangely build sentences and generally lack any form of engagement.

So, what's there to say. If you enjoy simple entertainment for some hours, yeah, go for it. But if you expect something new and awesome, I would refrain from buying the game.

Repeated mechanics aren't always a bad thing, otherwise no one would play side scrollers and so on. I feel that this game, due to its lower learning curve, is perfect for people new to the whole concept, or who don't feel like reading a whole manual before they get to play, or get annoyed by the amount of keys they have to remember... On the other side, it's a good start for the developer to get a foot in the door financially, feedback wise to see what was good and not, and find out if and how they can improve or in what direction they can take new ideas. As for the soundscape, I'm personally glad there wasn't too much detail in it, after all the world was less crammed than it is now, and an airy scape some times is better to relax, since you have to move on anyway.
Just my two sents on the matter.
