@8, as I understand it, you also have to make well over $15000 yearly from such sales in order to really, really be frowned down upon by reaper devs. It's not like they're just out to nickel and dime people.
@10, Agreed with you 100 percent. I wouldn't recommend reaper to someone unless I personally felt they had the passion for audioproduction and sound design. Even in that latter case I'd probably suggest they learn something like Goldwave first, as reaper is more than just audio editing software... Much, much more.
