Re: List of Ways to Make AudioGames
it depends on you really, Everyone likes a language and the other don't, For example, I like python, But the next poster may come and like C#, Or the other one saying c++, Every person likes a serten language so you should like one your own as well, But let me list reasons why i do like python below.
1: Easy learning, It's vary easy to learn for starters, How to write indentation, The name of methods, Structs etc what will you call them, Are easy to remember
2: The importation of modules: The system how does python import modules in is better than how some other does it, I'm pretty sure that there's other languages that does this, But this is what i saw until this moment, For example, You can have 2 modules with the same var name, Or function name, And python won't complain
3: Too many libraries/examples exists for python, Again, Easy for starters, There's lucia, Earwax, pyAGE and pretty sure others i didn't herd of.
4: I know most of languages are like this, But i found python are the most understandable between them all, Big community and easy google searching gives too many results that may help.
However, There's somethings i dislike about python, One of them is that it can not compile for other platforms like android/ios, There's maybe kivy, But i herd that it's not accessable and regardless, Most of python's libraries aren't compiled for other platforms so even if you managed to do it, Well good luck finding a accessable gaming library to work on.
Edit, @2, I won't call maps created by sable games, Because they are, Really not games, Like it or not, They aren't, Logicly because they run on something so maybe they can be called maps, Or worlds or something else.
