@Sebby, the equality discussion might be fun elsewhere, but for the immediate point I agree, on the one hand sighted gamers do need an intro to audiogames, on the other that intro should not give sighted gamers the impression that all audiogames are essentially bopit. However, just because mechanics are simple doesn't mean the game can't be addictive and have gameplay that requires more complete thought.
Look at blind swordsman as an audio game designed as a novelty for sighted gamers with very simple mechanics, but mechanics worked out to be addictive and challenging. After all, there is a reason that a lot of 80's games like packman, space invaders etc became so popular and addictive even though the principles and mechanics were simple.
