For me, a good soundstage is when I close my eyes and I can't say where the speakers are, but it is easy to tell where the musicians are placed. As an example, there are musicians further left than where my left speaker stands. A lousy soundstage is when it seems that all the musicians are in small huddle in the middle of the room. I am not sure if this is more important for some types of music than ohers. it's more like: You have to have experienced it to miss it afterwards. -- tomsi42 SqueezeBox2, Rotel RC-1070/RB-1070, dynaBel Exact. ------------------------------------------------------------------------ tomsi42's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=2477 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=18878 _______________________________________________ audiophiles mailing list [email protected] http://lists.slimdevices.com/lists/listinfo/audiophiles
