hk... A diamond shape is definately part of your problem. To get a good stage you need a space which is symetrical and square. Speakers need to be equidistant off side walls and unless you need the walls for bass reenforcement should be pulled forward a foot or more off back wall. Toe in has a major effect on image localization. The only way to nail it down is with trial and error. From my own experience about 3 degrees toe in is usually a good starting point; if you toe too far images will project more into soundstage and image will suffer. Now once you have speakers in good relative position, experiment with room tuning products to lock the image, tame unwanted resonance, and dampen the space if too lively. Happy Tuning /harris
