Hi, I've just purchased a Squeezebox 3 and have a question about how best to connect it up to my Arcam AVR 250 (driving Monitor Audio Silver 6 series speakers). This receiver has a direct stereo input path that bypasses (and switches off) its digital signal processing circuitry for best analog fidelity. On the other hand it has a Crystal CSC49400 DSP and Wolfson 24-bit 192kHz DACS.
My question is: with this setup will I get the best fidelity by connecting up via the analog path or the digital path?
