The results prob wouldn't be spectacular or anything. Since your're getting a DAC, just get the benchmark that reclocks instead of modifying anything. In a recent post called 'I'm Impressed', someone compared a Sonic Frontiers transport/dac that uses I2s connection to the effect of <10ps jitter, to a Squeezebox as transport. He now uses the squeezebox... even though its 'jitter' performance may be 10x worse. Sometimes you just have to leave well-enough alone :) Benchmark has some great reading linked from their site. -- Skunk ------------------------------------------------------------------------ Skunk's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=2685 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=19636 _______________________________________________ audiophiles mailing list [email protected] http://lists.slimdevices.com/lists/listinfo/audiophiles
