Seriously, Pale Blue Ego, didn't you mother tell you about what to do when you have nothing nice to say? I don't know enough electrical theory to argue either way about why audio components tend to sound better (to me) when they're not fresh out of the box. I just hope it's true in this case, as I've gone to considerable trouble (ripping ~475 CDs) and expense (a new hard drive and the SB itself, so far) to get to this point.
