Maybe, maybe not...

Electrolytic capacitors are complex things.

I know for sure that some solid state equipment doesn't sound good
unless warmed up, and that the period it sounds bad is longer after
having been turned off for a long time.

BTW, something being "unquantifiable", or, perhaps more correctly, hard
to quantify, doesn't mean it can't have impact.
