Unfortunately, not everyone has such an understanding and interested (even if simulated interest) wife.. However, after decades of suffering from audiophilia I have developed defensive strategies against pseudo or placebo effects. Basically, the sound has to be lived with for a while, not just A/B'ed. It seems the analytical part of the mind actually interfers with the process of assessing sound quality. -- P Floding ------------------------------------------------------------------------ P Floding's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=2932 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=22176 _______________________________________________ audiophiles mailing list [email protected] http://lists.slimdevices.com/lists/listinfo/audiophiles
