And isn't the TV a bit high? > The shelf design is well known in audio diy as the 'flexy-rack'. It's a great design, just shelves/studding/nuts/washers. The flexy bit refers to how easy it is to re-configure, the shelves can be adjusted up and down on the fly, extra shelves can be added. In real life you get used to the cables and holes in the wall, it's only when you post a photo that you realise how slack it looks.
