Absolutely, which is why we support FLAC to begin with. The lower data
rate means not only more buffering, but also less network usage.
However unless you're getting dropouts with WAV this is immaterial.
There is still the advantage of reduced server CPU usage, but with FLAC
this is minimal (2-4% IIRC).
