The files have to be saved and then played with SS - I don't know another way to do it. So get foobar, install the convolver plugin, and generate a filter using DRC. Then in foobar you can select files and "Convert" them. In the dialog box which pops up you can choose a DSP algorith to perform, so select convolve and the filter you want to use. It's much more ambitious than just a hack to convolve filters with the audio stream - it's got an equalizer and a nice interface which is controllable with the remote.
