I'm a long time Tact user and would no longer live without room correction. I started with the 2.2X with analogue amps and then switched to the digital 2150 amps. On the Tact forum you will find many, many users with a very wide selection of speaker brands and types. Aside from questions about using Tact with dipoles or somewhat esoteric speakers, there is almost no discussion of speaker preference or bias in terms of compatibility with Tact and room correction. You should experience significant gains with almost any system, at least those of conventional design.
