Sean, I agree with your approach. There would be no progress if one does not change his viewpoints over time, so like I said, I wasn't trying to trick you. In fact, I am very impressed with your honesty in saying that you are not the guru with the golden ears. Bear in mind that you have accomplished more than most of us "audiophile" old guys (most audiophiles are old these days). Being a Naim customer with a turntable, I came from being a total flat earth subjectivist to realizing that a lot of the black magic stuff being passed around is pure BS. Having said that, even though I can never tell the difference A/B'ing between two CD players or amplifiers, when a high-end setup is put together correctly the result is magical. I am hoping that the new transporter is that type of a product when matched with the best equipment. -- agentsmith ------------------------------------------------------------------------ agentsmith's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=1838 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=25783 _______________________________________________ audiophiles mailing list [email protected] http://lists.slimdevices.com/lists/listinfo/audiophiles
