this in no way is meant to disrespect the last post, but when i hear "transporter" i didn't even think of star trek, i thought of moving vehicles in a bureaucratic way, then the terrible movie, then the fact that cd players and the like have a "transport" sub-system that i thought this must be a refernce to.
needless to say, none of those thrilled or caught the imagination. but it is a little more appealing now that i know the star trek reference, which i hadn't thought of... but not much. i would have called it "the sonic samurai" as a lil nod to the great old nakamichi (-sp?) dragon cassette deck... but thats just me. feel free to use that going forward though. ;) btw, i have to agree about the remote, i don't see why at $2k someone can't get a great remote, not a cheesy looking one, that looks like it has all the problems the other one does. -- MrSinatra www.LION-Radio.org Using: Squeezebox2 w/SS 6.3.1 - Win XP Pro SP2 - 3.2ghz / 2gig ram ------------------------------------------------------------------------ MrSinatra's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=2336 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=25783 _______________________________________________ audiophiles mailing list [email protected] http://lists.slimdevices.com/lists/listinfo/audiophiles
