I have Shure E4-C's for portable use, and a pair of (refurbed) Senn
HD-600's for home use.

I just want to make the point that they're two completely different
beasts. If I could only keep one pair I'd keep the Sennheisers. In
fact when I go camping, I actually take my pair of old Sony mdr-7506's.
Even though the Shure's are really accurate, I prefer the traditional
headphones. I'd hate to see you sink a lot of your cash into IEM's
before you owned a nice pair of regular cans.

Sony mdr-7506 ~ $70
Senn hd-600 refurbs ~ $180
Shure e4's ~ $180 ?
