Sure. That is what I tried to express with my last sentence. "You have
to stop *somewhere*", as the returns keep diminishing.

Anyway, I have no absolutely no complaints about the sound quality of
my stock SB3. To my ears, and in my setup, it outperforms my
Redbook-only Pioneer CD-player which cost more than 2x of what the SB3
does.
